Mission Complete
Well, the Denver trip is finally over! On Sunday, our last day, we managed to hit up a couple more skate spots and the amazing Denver park for one last session before we headed out. The drive was nuts and extra bumpy making sleeping impossible. But finally after a 2 hour border stop, everyone got home safely. All in all the trip was absolutely amazing and everyone had a great time. You can look forward to our upcoming tour artile in the NEXT issue of SBC Skateboard magazine. Also be sure to check out sbcskateboard.com for a short promo video hyping up the tour article! Both are gonna blow your minds!! Big shout to Dave, Mark and The Source for making everything possible. Thanks guys!!

Woke up Kurbz with a kick to the foot, he was bummin'. drove for pretty much twelve hours to the best spot i've ever seen, got there, tornado and rain came down. After that some security guard booted us. Next spot, we roll couple blocks away to this long mellow rail (sheldon feeble in zero ad) started raining again. Nutty decided to get nutty and try and fifty it in the rain, but it was a little to gnarly and the same security guard gave us the boot again. Than we spent the rest of the day at westminister high school, it had a prime out rail nutty and keegs got down (peep nuttys photo) good bank to drop at the school aswell. Mcgal shot his ninety eighth sequence of the trip, and me kurbz had a little fun on it. Now were ending the second last day with some brews and thicky fresh classics. Kurbz is takin' foos money in poker.

Some Denver locals displayed serious hospitality towards us today. The day started with a session at a huge big four with three (cute) girls chilling on a balcony near by started hollering at us. Minutes later they were at the spot with a cooler of beer, They didn't even seem to mind that Luke was wearing nothing more than his hiked up undies (which he rocked all day)!! We got the boot from Denver's finest after a few tricks and made our way to the next spot.
This amazing Denver ditches spot is where we spent the rest of the skate day, even after cops had came by. Instead of giving us tickets, they snapped some digital pics of some tricks and were on their way. Once the sun came down and the boards were stacked in the trunk, we celebrated. A few brews and a dance floor demo was a great end to a great day.

Today we woke up at around 7.30 am to help our host Caroline's parents paint a basement and dig a trench in a house they're developing for a couple of hours. As you might of guessed, 7.30 am didn't really agree with our normal Denver biological clock so everyone was a little out of it. A couple of hours and pizzas later, the task was done. We rolled back to the cribs and packed up and headed out to look for some spots. We didn't find much other than a mellow kicker to flat gap that Gifford got down for. We gave up on looking for things to skate and headed to 303 skateshop to get a map marked up with spots we'd checked out in their local video "Let the good times Roll". If you can get your hands on a copy you should definitely check it out, It's super sick.
Map in hand, we rolled to the first spot, a cobblestone bank to bank gap over some stairs. Sean, Mitch, Devin and Luke all got some good tricks, check out Kurbz's benny photo above!!
We ended our day at this tall out ledge and gap, where both Keegs and Kurbz got some super sick footage and photos.
Tom's diner for dinner and then off to bed...

Wednesday, May 9th, 2007 KURBZ BLOGZ IT UP!
Woke up to keegs kicking my foot, nice! "kurbz lets go everyones in the van already!". I jumped up off tha floor, threw on some clothes and raced downstairs only to find Dev in his shorts an' half tha locs still sleepin'... morning classic.
The weather is still nice but everyone is feeling under, sore throats (and Keeg Nosebleeds). Shortly after showers we went for brekky at Tom's Diner. Bynx? Suposibly DOG the Bounty Hunter was goin' to be there during the day but we missed him due to the strict business schedule. Joe arrived at the crib an' had a perfect spot in mind for warm up. Perfect Marble flats surrounded by some epic white pillars... qual? i think so. Unfortunately the sesh was over almost before it started thanks to security (classssic) so we headed downtown. Time to get to serious. perfect 10 stair and 70 above weather is dope. Bums lurking behind the porta-potties and some serious sun tanning, not to mention a quality Kent photo sequence and vid clip. Uncle Brent tested some Brent flips, peep the photo!
The next spot is supposibly simular to the chi but has a perfect rail in the middle so more like a long shallow at mills. Chi + Shallow = Nutty J is hyped and lays down some top notch skating (Keeg as well!). We spent the majority of the afternoon at the rail and left in a rather chipper mood only to find a perfect barrier to skate. We got kicked out quickly, but not before Sean and Devin both landed some baggy bangers. Off to the denver park to finish off the day. Dev wanted to shoot one more photo so some of the boys went to this spot under a bridge. We ended the day with some grub en' drinks. Currently TROY is on the tube and locs are seshing some card games.
PEACE

"Crack the sun screen! First rain free day of the trip. Hype, hype. The sun provided the motivation for our earliest roll out yet, noon. Skating by 11:00 is the precall for tomorrow. 5 spots today, starting with a productive wallride sesh. We got the boot from our "training wheels/confidence boster" seven stair rail, but not before confidence was amply boosted. Check out the pics and enjoy the J-Bear FGP (frontal ground props). Skating banks at a place that gives out food stamps makes for interesting sesh. Violent threats as well as firetruck and ambulance cameos...heat. Time for a team moral boost via Qwalmart B.B. gun shopping and 4lbs burritos. A few B.B. wounds later we were ready for an epic (for lack of a less played word, because Dev banned the word "core") Denver ditch sesh. Kurbz and Giffs got down on a steep bank, and let me tell you, if I had packed my protractor... Need we mention Sean also got zaney? One last spot at the Harley dealership. Brick hips and a tabletop, prime. Tired, sunburnt and tigerbalmed, maybe my nightly Tylenol program is giving me this bleeding nose. I'm out before I bleed all over Duckhunt Daver's lap-T."

Monday, May 7th 2007
Today started with an empty fountain session, Quarter pipes and wallies all around! Not bad for a monday morning. We then meet up with Joe and he brought us to this Yacht Club where there was tons of stuff to skate. Locs got there shred on, resulting in some quality footage and photos (Check Cahills Stee on the FS BS! Shuvs?? Perhaps, perhaps...) We then dodged rainshowers all the way to an absolutely amazing drainage ditch (Some might recognize it from Bag of Suck, Suffer the Joy, etc...) It was just getting dark when Kurbz landed himself a most excellent hip maneouver. Peeps are chillin' now and I'm in the middle of a mild asthma attack. I gotta roll out and hit my puffer. Cats...
